About Me:
As a specialist with A Ticket to Travel I focus on travelers who have mobility limitations or other disabilities. As someone who has traveled using a wheelchair since 1972 I have experience fashioning positive travel experiences. I also work extensively with the industry and governments to improve travel opportunities for those of all abilities. That work has taken me to every continent but Antactica and left an ever-expanding set of travel opportunies open for you.
For example, working closely with my colleague Sherri Backstrom of Waypoint Yacht Charter Services I can provide you with unique accessible land and sea packages on crewed or bare boats in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Indian, Atlantic, and Pacific Oceans (including Alaska). Energetic itineraries are available through partnerships with the adventure tourism associations of Brazil and India and established accessible safari providers in Africa. Restful packages at all-inclusive resorts or on luxury cruise ships are also available for individuals, families, or groups where expertly accommodating disability is a key ingredient of a successful trip.
