About Me:

My name is Nadia Jastrjembskaia and I founded Aurora Cruises & Travel in 2008. I came to this decision after years as a travel hunter on the Internet and extensive traveler all over the world. I discovered that most of travel agents that I met were retailers: their job was to sell the most expensive product that I could afford. Also, I didn’t want ‘the best deal’ because of the low quality of the product it might be. After vacation in Berlin’s hotel, advertised at Hotel.com as a 4-star property, but in reality a motel, I came to the point to do deep research by myself. I studied areas I want to be and all attraction around it. Surprisingly, I learned that is time consuming! So, I came with idea of offering SERVICE to my clients not simply sell, sell, and sell for commissions from suppliers.

I earn PhD in Education and good in researching the products. I am working towards my full certification in Luxury Cruising and taking classes from CLIA (Cruise Line International Association.) I like to investigate products by myself. I actively participate in FAM trips and inspections. Recently, I inspected the following areas, hotels, and ships.

Best well-known destinations world-wide: Eastern Europe and South East Asia. I was born and grew up in Kaliningrad, Russia, known as Konigsberg, Germany, before WW2. As a gymnast and coach I traveled a lot around Eastern Europe. I know very well Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany. I spent 4 and ½ years in Malaysia, so I know all Malaysian regions including Sarawak and Sabah, as well as Singapore and Bangkok
