About Me:
Since 1984, I have been in the travel industry. First, as a travel consultant for the music industry, then groups and leisure clients. Because I enjoy learning about geography and "faraway places", I believe that I have a feel for almost anywhere in the world. However, my preferred destinations to book are the U.S., Western Canada, the United Kingdom, and Western Europe. In 1990, I coordinated a CTC candidate class which lead to my receiving my CTC in 1991. In 2002, I became a lifetime CTC.
I am a travel professional because I enjoy working with clients, am organized and detail oriented, and, as mentioned above, enjoy the learning about destinations throughout the world.
My favorite success story is my longtime group client, the Tennessee Farmers Co-ops stores in each county (95) in Tennessee. This was a sales incentive group for managers and spouses or assistant managers and spouses that had to qualify by meeting sales requirements in order to "win" the trip. This group averaged 100 participants, and they were my client for 8 years until my contact, the vice-president of sales retired.
I am unique because I believe the client is the bottom line. Whenever I work with a client, I imagine how I would feel about each component if I were taking the same trip. In other words, I put myself in the client's shoes.
Because of my knowledge and experience as well as my attention to customer service, consumers should book with me.
