About Me:
I don't even like using the term "travel agent" to describe who I am and what I do. I run a very personalized, high-level boutique firm that specializes in designing a luxury (if needed) travel experience for my clients. Each client is treated like a VIP and I customize each experience for each client. I have established a wonderful rapport with my suppliers and I am usually able to get upgrades, perks, bonuses and/or additional discounts because of this.
To keep up to date on the very latest, I attend travel trade shows, seminars and take educational classes online so my clients can receive the very latest information and I can continue educating myself in the latest developments of travel.
While I certainly cannot say I have traveled the world or that I am an expert on every place, I can say that because of the affiliation I have with my host agency, I have a network of more than 2,300 travel professionals and colleagues to confer with should I have a client interested in traveling somewhere I personally have not been.
You can think of it as good, bad or indifferent, but travel today is not what it used to be. The biggest addition to the mix, of course, is the Internet which provides numerous opportunities for travelers to begin researching their itineraries as soon as their dream begins to unfold. The operative word here however, is clearly “begin.” With the world becoming “smaller,” the expenses associated with travel can become “larger.” And this is where the travel professional not only enters the picture but brings lots of meaningful contributions to the table.
I am an independent agent affiliated with an agency that belongs to an exclusive network of suppliers, which gives my clients preferred rates and complimentary upgrades and amenities at top resorts & hotels worldwide. Traveling is what I love. Travel is what I am passionate about it. Travel is what I know. For many years now I have been helping clients by advising them in ways that are friendly to their budgets while embellishing their memory scrapbooks.
Satisfied clients are happy clients, and in turn, become repeat customers who refer their friends, family and coworkers. This is the only way to profitably conduct business in this wonderful world of travel and I take my responsibilities very seriously. Regardless of the destination, a client’s vacation, family trip, honeymoon, girlfriend’s getaway or cruise, is SERIOUS business and needs unquestionable focus on the details.
Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa, and the South Pacific are just a few of my favorite destinations, but I also take pride in helping clients in other areas of travel. I book guided tours and I thoroughly enjoy building independent itineraries that can be customized to a client’s individual tastes. I can include theater and museum tickets, shows, customized excursions, specialty restaurants and a lot more depending on their creative receptiveness.
From a quaint bed & breakfast in the south of France to a luxury hotel or villa in Italy, to a safari in Africa, I arrange and pay diligent attention to all the details. Culinary wine tours are in high demand in a variety of countries and people are experiencing the wonders of France, Italy, Chile, Germany, South Africa and more by taking these kinds of trips. NEVER are they unhappy.
If pressed for a differentiating strong point, I will have to mention my ability to connect on a personal level with my clients while collaborating as a team to create, build and manage the perfect vacation. I do most of the legwork while they enjoy all of the vacation.
