About Me:
Ever since Sal Scannella, the founder of Princess Travel traveled to Italy by ship in 1959 to visit relatives in Italy, he has been infatuated by the love of travel & especially ocean liners. In 1965 he began working at the famous “Italian Line” owners of the legendary liners: Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello & Michaelangelo. In 1973 he managed a travel agency in Staten Island for 3 years before opening Princess Travel in 1976.
