Destined To Travel has been in operation since 2008, but I have been a professional travel agent for the past twenty five years. Since 2007 my focus and my niche has been escorting groups to Africa, all the finest safari destinations. I have taken countless numbers of groups to both Kenya and Tanzania, several to South Africa and a few to Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, and Namibia. I personally have traveled over 45 trips and escorted almost as many groups. Africa is my love, my passion and whenever I have an opportunity to go, with or without clients, I do. I try to keep up with all the new accommodations, areas and companies. As a personal escort I work with just a few companies who know my needs and can provide the services I want for my guests. My safaris are personalized and customized, I rarely sell scheduled trips from a brochure, but I can if that is what someone wanted. I pride myself into putting together more custom safaris working within the client's realistic budget. The highest compliment is repeat clients and I have had many, some started in South Africa and have returned with me to Kenya a few times and Tanzania a few times. Many will be traveling again with me in 2013. That is my success, as I am happiest when I can show my guests what I know Africa to be - a well kept secret, and one that beckons you back again and again. I don't try to compete with the larger more well known companies but I can provide equally as good service, and since I am with the group, if someone chose one of my escorted tours, I know they would benefit from my expertise and knowledge and my colleagues in Africa.
