Iris has the perfect personality for a travel professional and truly enjoys helping people. She is efficient without being pushy or overbearing or desperate to make the sale and close the deal. I found that if you give her details of exactly what you would like / expect / or require, rather than get flustered as so many sub-par agents would, Iris would gladly use that as a check off list, to ensure she was getting you the vacation you envisioned. The down side was that Iris utilized another booking agent who supposedly knew the property well but the information they gave on the lay out of the hotel and approximate distance between suite types turned out to be very incorrect. Request that Iris call the property herself because she is actually very effective at that. Iris is a cruise specialist but is more than willing / able to research and come up with the very best value for you on "LAND AND AIR" trips. She welcomes questions, is not defensive or irritable and will thoroughly research any options you want to consider. In other words, Iris is a pleasure to work with. For those who would rather just have one long term travel agent that yo use for everything, Iris would be the perfect choice. I have no doubt that she will go out of her way to ensure that some of the snafus we encountered on this trip do not happen again. I would recommend Iris with confidence- I certainly will use her again! Does she know Mauritius or South Africa? Maybe not but I have no doubt that she will eagerly embark on that quest on my behalf and deliver the best possible deal for my budget!
