How does Tripology work?

You create a Tripology customized profile specifying your specialties. We match you with travelers seeking a trip featuring those specialties. You purchase the traveler leads you are interested in. It's that simple.

Each email from Tripology.com has a detailed itinerary and price to view the travelers contact information. If you are interested in working with this client, click the "accept" link. The first three agents who "accept" a lead will be able to view the client's contact information. The clients will be waiting to hear from you. At that point, you deal directly with the client and book the trip just as you normally would.

How much does it cost to register with Tripology?

Registering is free.

How much do leads cost?

Tripology leads range from a $2 to a $25 investment based on a multitude of criteria determined by the client’s trip request.

Is there a monthly fee to be a Tripologists?

There is no monthly membership fee.

What is your refund policy?

Tripology makes every effort to deliver leads to its specialists that accurately fit their specialties. We have established the following refund policy in the unlikely event where our specialists are unsatisfied.

We'll issue refunds for:

  • Invalid contact information: Phone or email
  • Inaccurate information provided in the trip request:
  • Wrong budget

We'll not issue refunds for:

  • Bookings made with another agent for the consumer
  • Bookings made elsewhere
  • Consumers who changed their minds about the trip
  • Consumers did not respond to your email/phone call
  • Free Tripology credits and/or funds left in your Tripology account more than 30 days
  • Accidental/erroneous purchase of a lead

What if I ever want to cancel my Tripology account?

While Tripology endeavors to satisfy all its Tripologists' lead generation needs, in the unlikely event where a Tripologist needs to cancel his/her account, a member of Tripology's Relationship Management team can assist. Note that any funds that were deposited in the Tripologist's account more than 30 days before the cancellation request cannot be refunded.

How do I sign up?

Specialists simply need to complete our registration form to be considered for the program.

What is the review process for new specialists who want to work with Tripology?

We look for knowledgeable specialists who are true destination experts. We require a certain level of industry experience and accreditation. We feel strongly about working with specialists who have traveled to their destination of expertise and who are familiar with that destination's activities and key features. When reviewing new applicants, all those factors will be considered. Complete our registration form now.

What do you expect from travel specialists?

We want you to be forthcoming about your true areas of expertise. We also need for our Tripologists to respond to each customer Trip Requests in a timely manner. Professionalism is the key to our mutual success.

How will my leads get to me?

We email you leads in real time. You may also access your leads by signing into your Tripology account at www.tripology.com/agent.

How are the leads qualified?

Our consumers go through a rigorous process by which they provide detailed trip information. This allows us to accurately match you with the clients that most closely correspond to your specialties.

What information is featured in the client trip requests?

The trip request will offer complete trip information, including budget, preferred destination, number of travelers in the party, travel dates and more details that allow you to decide whether the lead is the right fit for you.

How do you monitor for "Tire Kickers"?

Our rigorous consumer interview process virtually eliminates casual client inquiries.

How do I know I'll be matched with the right clients for me?

You are in total control of how you set your profile preferences to only allow for leads that suit your specialty.

What is the typical conversion rate for the leads?

Travel specialists report that 10% - 50% of the leads they purchase result in a sale. Keep in mind that customer information provided on the trip request can be used to gain future sales also.

How can I be sure I am introduced to only the types of clients I want to work with?

When you start using Tripology.com, you create a customized profile where you can specify exactly the types of itineraries you are looking for and the type of customers you prefer to work with.

How many agents have access to the same lead?

Three. Limiting leads to three specialists ensures that both you and the consumer receive the maximum value from Tripology.
