Detailed Travel Service Description

The tour leaving Cape Town on the N1 Motorway towards Paarl with the first stop at Butterfly World, which is the largest free flying park for butterflies in Southern Africa. Inside the flight display house, displays depict the life cycle of the butterfly and if you are lucky, you might see a butterfly emerging from its pupa.. From Butterfly World we proceed to Spier Estate. Cheetah Outreach: Spier has made land available to a group of hand-raised cheetahs in the care of the Cheetah Outreach Program. Learn more about these incredible cats from a distance or get close and personal and for the more daring ones even step inside the enclosure Eagle Encounters: Eagle encounters is a Bird of Prey rehabilitation, education, conservation and ego-tourism centre. Eagle Encounters is not a Zoo and the Birds do not live in cages. Take a stroll through the “weathering area” where you can openly view the largest, smallest, strongest, fastest and cheekiest. We will also visit the wine centre which is housed in an original Dutch Gabled Barn dating back to 1750. Spier offers a selection of formal wine tastings to suit casual drinkers and connoisseurs. And we will end the day with a stroll trough the curio shop.
