Kenya is a land where the world's remaining population of big cats, big mammals, and plains game still roam free in their natural habitats. The diverse and abundant wildlife owes it very existence and uniqueness to the country's terrain, which ranges from snow covered peaks of Mount Kenya, to Highlands, to Savannah, to the Great Rift Valley and its lakes as well as the simmering sands of the Coast. Each of these regions are home to unique types of wildlife. For ornithologists it has an amazing wealth of birdlife. Kenya has 59 National Parks, Game Reserve, Marine National Parks and Reserves. You will visit Nairobi, Aberdares, Samburu, Nakuru, Naivasha and Mara.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi.
On arrival at JKI Airport, a representative will welcome you and transfer you to Nairobi Hotel.

Overnight at Grand Regency Hotel.
Day 2 - Nakuru
Lake Nakuru.
National Parks
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for the flamingos and other birds that feed in the alkaline water. Other game found in this park are black and White Rhino, buffalo, leopard, lion, Rothschild’s Giraffe, White and Black Colobus monkey, eland, steinbok, impala, Chandlers Reedbuck, dik dik, whilst rock hyrax, klipspringer, hippo and clawless otter. Afternoon game drive.

Day 3 - Kenya
Masai Mara.
Safari
Traverse the Rift Valley and ascend its western rim into the Masai land. Red-clad, with spear Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Afternoon game drive in search of wildlife.

Day 4 - Kenya
Masai Mara.
Safari
Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, such as zebra and gazelle, from the plains of Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara’s grasslands. They are tracked by predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes: elephants, Black Rhinos, buffalos, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebras, hartebeest, various antelopes and gazelles, lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and much more.

Day 5 - Kenya
Lake Naivasha.

Today you drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
National Parks
Continue to Amboseli National Park situated at the foothills of the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa.

Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge (B,L,D).
Day 7 - Kenya
Tsavo West.
Safari
Early morning game drive to view wildlife against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. The park offers a wide variety of wildlife but the principal attraction is its vast herds of elephant within the park. The bull elephants here have some of the largest tusks in Kenya. Other game includes: zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, leopard, caracal and serval cat. The park boasts a rich bird life such as ibis, egret, avocet, common and saddle-billed stork, secretary bird, heron, vultures, ducks, and geese. After breakfast continue to Tsavo West to arrive in time for lunch at Voyager Safari Camp. Afternoon game drive in this vast area in search of wildlife.

Day 8 - Mombasa
Beach
After breakfast drive to coastal town of Kenya – Mombasa for your beach stay.

Days at leisure on the beach or to explore the city of Mombasa and other excursions available.
