Detailed Trip Description
During these 9 days of the Gems of the Orient Tour, you will visit Singapore, Malaysia, and Bangkok. You will also visit Thian Hock Keng Temple, the National Mosque or in Malay the "Masjid Negara," and Thean Hou Temple situated in Robson Heights.

Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.
Day 4 - Singapore

Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a city tour that showcases the history, multi-racial culture, and lifestyle that defines Singapore. See the city's colonial heritage as we drive around the Civic District past the Padang, the Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court, and City Hall. Stop at the Merlion Park for great view of Marina Bay and a picture-taking opportunity with the Merlion. A mythological creature that is part lion and part fish. The tour continues with a visit to the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples on the island, built with donation from the early immigrant workers from China.
Sightseeing
Next drive past Chinatown to a local handicraft center to watch Asian craftsmanship. From there we proceed to the National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanic Garden, which boasts sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants comprising 400 species and more than 2,000 hybrids.
Sightseeing
Our final stop at Little India will enthrall you with the scent of joss tocks, jasmine and spices. Rest of the day is free to explore Singapore on your own.
Day 5 - Malaysia

This morning is at free to explore Singapore on your own. Take an afternoon flight to Kuala Lumpur.

Upon arrival, meet our representative at the arrival hall and be transferred to your hotel.
Day 6 - Malaysia

Sightseeing
Visit the National Mosque or in Malay the Masjid Negara, which is the most distinguished mosque in Kuala Lumpur. Another must see is the Tugu Negara or War Memorial where we honor those who perished in the war. Chinatown, located in Petaling Street is full of good bargains and deals, food of sorts and rich Chinese culture. The Moorish-styled Federal Court, the old Railway station which is a striking piece of Mohammedan architecture, the Tudor-styled Cricket Club and the King’s Palace. Visit the Thean Hou Temple situated in Robson Heights, which is the home to patron Goddess Thean Hou of the Hainanese community. This striking six-tiered temple is regarded as one of the biggest Chinese temples in South East Asia. (B).

Today you will discover Bangkok by visiting The Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions:the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.
