Wild Coast = Northern area of the Eastern Cape…beautiful mountains, valleys, indigenous forests, beaches, local villages, art and crafts stands, scenic waterfalls plunging into the ocean, and warm friendly people. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - 2 - South Africa

 
Sightseeing

Pick up at Mthatha airport, drive to Port St. Johns to a secluded beach side comfortable First Class resort, about 2hrs hours away, nestled in between villages, and next to the ocean. We will stay for 2 nights and explore the small but upbeat town on foot, enjoying the local open air markets, and maybe do a walking tour with a local

Beach

Here you can experience village walks, canoe trips, beach walks, waterfall trips, horse riding on the beach, through the local villages, and of course relax and do nothing. 2 nights in an ocean view room.


Day 3 - 4 - South Africa

 
Sightseeing

3rd Day Leaving Port St Johns we will go to Mthatha to visit the visit the Nelson Mandela Museum, and visit his home village, before continuing onward partly via the rural Transkei (Wild Coast) enjoying rural villages, scenic rural life, and Incredible natural scenery ending of at Coffee Bay for 2N.

Sightseeing

Your stay at Cofee Bay will be at a beach side hotel. We will also walk to the hole in the wall, relax on the beach, walk to local villages, canoe on the lagoon/river, ride horses on the beach, learn to surf, or learn to make time (i.e. do nothing constructively).


Day 5 - South Africa

 

Fly onward from Mthatha to your next destination.
