During our South Africa Cultural Tours, we will introduce you to the people, history, culture, customs, traditions, lifestyle that have made South Africa into what it is to day. Visit the village where Nelson Mandela grew up, and tour , for example, the Nelson Mandela Museum on our Eastern Cape Tours.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - East London
Sightseeing
Meet guests at East London Airport. Briefly drive through East London City and proceed to Mdantsane the second biggest township in the Southern Hemisphere. Experience township life. We will walk a bit, and meet with township folk.
Historical and Educational Tours
Afterwards we will proceed to Bisho and King William’s Town the Capital of the Eastern Cape Province. We will visit the Bisho massacrememorial, Steve Biko’s home in Ginsberg Township, his grave at the Steve BiskoGarden of remembrance, the Amathole Museum popular with natural history and also the last resting place of "Hurberta" the hippo who became world famous for her wandering early this century.
Sightseeing
We also walk or drive around King Willliam’s Town popular for its many churches.

Overnight in King Williams Town.
Day 2 - South Africa
Private Car Service
We leave King William’s Town after breakfast and proceed to Mgwali Cultural Village outside Stutterheim. This village resisted forced removals during the apartheid Era.
Performing Arts
We will be entertained here with traditional dancing with our guests being encouraged to take part in the dancing.
Voluntourism
The guests will also be encouraged to get involved with certain projects in the village e.g. in craft making or working in the fields or assisting in cooking traditional food.

Overnight at Mgwali Village.
Day 3 - East London
Private Car Service
Leave Mgwali after breakfast and proceed to East London to drop off our guests.
