Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - On the Plane
USA-Shanghai.
Commercial Flight
Overnight flight to China.
Day 2 - Shanghai
Arrive in the evening and transfer to your 5* hotel.
Food and Dining
Due to various arrival times, meals are on your own.
Day 3 - Suzhou
Shanghai - Suzhou.
Train
Depart via train for China’s “Venice”, the City of Canals, Suzhou.
Sightseeing
Take a tour including a boat ride on the Grand Canal and Pan Men Gate.
Sightseeing
In the evening visit the “Garden of Master of the Nets” with a special dinner and performance.
Hotel
Overnight in a 5* hotel in Suzhou. (B, L, SD)
Day 4 - Shanghai
Suzhou - Shanghai.
Train
Return to Shanghai via either train or bus.
Sightseeing
Begin your sightseeing of Shanghai including the Bund, Yu Yuan Gardens, and Nanjing Road.
Food and Dining
Tonight dinner at a local restaurant will be followed by a performance of the famous Chinese Acrobats.
Hotel
Return to the 5* Vivasha Resort Hotel in Shanghai. (B, D)
Day 5 - Shanghai
Sightseeing
Tour the Jade Buddha Temple, enjoy a Mongolian style BBQ lunch, visit the impressive Shanghai Museum with Audio Guide.
Food and Dining
End the day with a dinner at a local restaurant. (B, SL, D)
Day 6 - Wuhan
Shanghai - Wuhan.
Commercial Flight
A midday flight take you to Wuhan.
Sightseeing
On arrival, your city tour includes stops at Mao’s Residence and the Museum of Ancient History.

Day 7 - Yichang
Wuhan - Yichang.
Sightseeing
After breakfast, board your bus for a 3 hour ride through rural China, where you will get a glimpse of the rice paddies and country life.

On arrival in Shashi, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant prior to visiting the unique History Museum home to Mr. Sui, the 1000 year old mummy still preserved with most of his body parts intact!
Bus
After some free time in the city, continue on to Yichang.
River or Barge Cruise
Board your deluxe “floating hotel". (B, L, D)
Day 8 - At Sea
Three Gorges Dam.
Sightseeing
Begin the day with a tour of this massive wonder and then continue sailing through the wide Xiling Gorge and the mysterious Wu Gorge.
Performing Arts
Tonight enjoy the on board fashion show performed by your crew. (B, L, D)
Day 9 - At Sea
Lesser Gorges and Sampan.
Sightseeing
Enjoy exploring the Lesser Gorges along the Shennong Stream or Danning River by small motorized sampans. (B, L, D)
Day 10 - At Sea
Yangtze River Town.
Sightseeing
Today explore Shibaozhai, Fengdu or Wanxian, typical riverside towns, where a tour will introduce you to the local attractions.
Food and Dining
The evening is reserved for our Captain’s Gala Dinner followed by a Karaoke party! (B, L, D)
Day 11 - Guilin
Chongqing - Guilin.
Sightseeing
Bid your ship goodbye as you disembark and continue with your China adventure. First stop at the Panda Zoo and then visit the "Grand Hall", featuring Chinese paintings.
Food and Dining
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Sightseeing
After lunch stop and tour a silk factory.
Commercial Flight
Transfer to airport for your short flight to Guilin, gateway to the Li River.
Hotel
Transfer to your 5* hotel.

Day 12 - Guilin
Guilin - Yangshuo.
River or Barge Cruise
The morning is reserved for a half-day cruise along the beautiful, mystical Li River.
Sightseeing
Explore the bustling town of Yangshuo in the early afternoon.
Performing Arts
Here you will have dinner followed by the brand new “Impressions of the Third Sister Liu” light and dance show performed under the stars by the river.
Hotel
Overnight is at a first class hotel in Yangshuo. (B, L, D)
Day 13 - Xian
Yangshuo - Guilin - Xian.
Sightseeing
Return to Guilin for sightseeing of the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill.
Commercial Flight
Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Xian in the afternoon.

On arrival transfer to your 5* hotel.
Food and Dining
Dinner is on your own tonight. (B, L)
Day 14 - Xian
Museums
Tour the magnificent Terra Cotta Museum where over 8000 life sized warriors have stood guard for the last 2000 years!
Food and Dining
Then enjoy a cooked to order lunch at the museum restaurant.
Sightseeing
Stop at a lacquer-ware factory on your way back to the hotel.
Performing Arts
The evening is reserved for a special dinner and fabulous Tang Dynasty show. (B, L, SD)
Day 15 - Beijing
Xian - Beijing.
Commercial Flight
A mid-morning flight takes you to Beijing.
Sightseeing
On arrival, stop to tour the unique Temple of Heaven.
Hotel
Afterwards you will go to your 5* hotel for check-in.
Food and Dining
Tonight, enjoy a welcome Peking Duck Dinner followed by a performance of a traditional Chinese Opera. (B, SD)
Day 16 - Beijing
Sightseeing
Your morning sightseeing includes Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden Palace. From there continue to the old Hutong part of Beijing where you will enjoy a bicycle rickshaw ride and visit a local Chinese family who will cook and share their lunch with you.

Afterwards, you will visit the Children's Palace.
Hotel
Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 17 - Beijing
Sightseeing
Today visit one of the modern wonders of world: the Great Wall of China!

After lunch visit a local Kung Fu* school where students will stage a performance for you featuring the techniques of this ancient martial art.

Tonight’s dinner will be at a popular local restaurant. (B, L, SD)
Performing Arts
When closed, Kung Fu school will be substituted with a Kung Fu Theater performance in the evening.
Day 18 - Beijing
Sightseeing
Today’s sightseeing of the Summer Palace will include a short boat ride. The included tour portion of the day will end at Tiananmen Square and the balance of the day will be free.
Sightseeing
Explore Beijing on your own, or join your guide for an impromptu visit to a local marketplace (Silk Alley or similar) where you will be able to bargain for those last minute souvenirs and gifts. (B)
Day 19 - Beijing
Beijing - Home.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
