Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - On the Plane
USA - Shanghai.
Commercial Flight
Overnight flights to China.
Day 2 - Shanghai
On arrival, transfer to your deluxe hotel.
Food and Dining
Due to various arrivals, meals are on your own today.
Day 3 - Shanghai
Sightseeing
Today’s sightseeing will include the Bund, Yu Yuan Gardens and Nanjing Road.
Relaxation
Return to your hotel for some rest and relaxation in the afternoon.
Performing Arts
Tonight, early dinner at a local restaurant will be followed by a performance of the famous Chinese Acrobats. (B, D)
Day 4 - Shanghai
Sightseeing
In the morning visit the Children's Palace, where gifted kids will perform for you!
Sightseeing
Continue with a tour to the Jade Buddha Temple.
Sightseeing
After a Mongolian BBQ lunch, visit the famous Art Institute where you will have the opportunity to see artists at work.
Food and Dining
End the day with dinner at a local restaurant. (B, SL, D)
Day 5 - Wuhan
Shanghai - Wuhan.
Commercial Flight
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your mid-day flight to Wuhan – the joining of 3 cities and 2 major rivers – the Yellow River and the Yangtze.
Sightseeing
On arrival, your tour of this vibrant port city will include stops at Mao’s Residence and the Museum of Ancient History.
Food and Dining
End the day with dinner.

Day 6 - Yichang
Wuhan –Yichang.
Bus
A wonderful day is ahead! After breakfast, board your bus for a fascinating drive through the real China!
Sightseeing
During the 3 hour ride you will get a glimpse of the rice paddies and rural Chinese life as you drive along 2 lane roads past riverside villages.
Museums
On arrival to Shashi, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant prior to visiting the unique History Museum - home to Mr. Sui – the 1000 year old mummy still preserved with most of his body parts intact.
Bus
After some free time in the city, continue on to Yichang.
River or Barge Cruise
Board your deluxe floating hotel for the start of your magical Yangtze cruise. (B, L, D)
Day 7 - At Sea
Three Gorges Dam.
Sightseeing
Begin the day with a tour of this massive wonder, one of the largest man-made projects ever constructed.
River or Barge Cruise
Continue sailing through the wide Xiling Gorge.
Performing Arts
The day will end with a fashion show performed by your Crew! (B, L, D)
Day 8 - At Sea
Sampan Exploration.
Sightseeing
In the morning, you will enjoy a unique experience as you board smaller sampan boats to explore either the Shennong Stream or the Daning River, both tributaries of the mighty Yangtze!
Sightseeing
Here you will see unique flora and fauna including wild birds, monkeys and the 1000 year old “hanging coffins” of the ancient BA people. Your excursion will end at one of the small villages with some time for exploring and shopping on your own.

Return to your ship for lunch.

In the afternoon, pass through the mythical WU gorge and in the evening enjoy our Crew Revue! (B, L, D)
Day 9 - At Sea
Shibaozhai - Fengdu.
Sightseeing
Depending on sailing conditions, stop at either Shibaozhai or Fengdu and tour one of these typical riverside towns.
Food and Dining
The evening is reserved for our Captain’s Farewell Dinner followed by a “wild” Kareoki party! (B, L, D)
Day 10 - Xian
Chongquing - Xian.
Sightseeing
Bid your crew goodbye as you disembark and continue with your China adventure. First stop at the Panda Zoo and then it’s on to the "Grand Hall", featuring Chinese paintings.
Sightseeing
After a break for lunch at a local restaurant, stop and tour a local Silk Factory on your way to the airport for your short flight to Xian.

Flight to Xian.
Hotel
On arrival, transfer to your deluxe hotel.

Day 11 - Xian
Museums
This exciting day will begin with a tour of the magnificent History Museum, where the 8000 Terra-Cotta Warriors of the emperor Qi have been buried for over 2000 years!
Sightseeing
Enjoy a cooked to order lunch at the museum and afterwards visit a Lacquer-ware Factory.
Food and Dining
The evening is reserved for a fabulous Tang Dynasty dinner and show. (B, L, SD)
Day 12 - Beijing
Xian - Beijing.
Commercial Flight
Transfer to the airport for your mid-morning flight to Beijing.
Sightseeing
On arrival, stop to tour the unique Temple of Heaven then continue to your deluxe hotel for check-in.

Tonight, enjoy a welcome Peking Duck dinner followed by a performance of the unique Chinese Opera. (B, SD)
Day 13 - Beijing
Sightseeing
Your morning sightseeing tour will include Tianamen Square and the Forbidden Palace.
Sightseeing
From there, continue to the old Hutong part of Beijing where you will enjoy a bicycle rickshaw-ride which will take you to visit a local Chinese family who will cook and share their lunch with you.
Hotel
Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure (dinner on your own). (B, SL)
Day 14 - Beijing
Sightseeing
Your morning excursion takes you to the Great Wall. Lunch will be served at the wall.
Shopping
On your way back to the city, stop at a Jade Factory and the famous Silk Alley market where you will have time to bargain for those last minute gifts and souvenirs.
Food and Dining
Your final dinner will be at the Dai Minority restaurant where waiters will entertain you with songs and dances. (B, L, SD)
Day 15 - Beijing
Time to pack away your memories as you transfer to the airport for your flights home. (B)
