Detailed Trip Description
During this 15 Day Majestic China Tour, you will enjoy sightseeing and many activities in Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Wuzhen. The tour includes the following accommodation: 4 nights at a 5* hotel with a buffet breakfast in Beijing. (Beijing Plaza Royal, Beijing Grand Chang An Hotel, Oriental Bar Hotel or similar). You will then spend 2 nights at a 5* hotel with buffet breakfast in Xi'an. (King Dynasty Hotel or similar). After you leave Xi'an, you will journey to Shanghai for 3 nights and live in a 4* hotel with buffet breakfast. (Shanghai Galaxy Hotel or similar). You will spend 2 nights in a deluxe hotel with buffet breakfast in Suzhou. (Gateway International Hotel or similar). As your tour comes to an end, you will stay for 2 nights in a 4* hotel by the lake with buffet breakfast in Hangzhou. (Ramada Hotel or similar). Finally you will stay for 1 night in a deluxe hotel with buffet breakfast in Wuzhen. (Waterside Tongji Hotel or similar).

Day 1 - Beijing

Upon arrival, transfer to a 5* hotel for your overnight rest before starting your China adventure!
Day 2 - Beijing
Sightseeing
Today is a full day of sightseeing which includes many of this city’s highlights: Tiananmen Square, the magnificent Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. (B, L, D)
Day 3 - Beijing
Historical and Educational Tours
Today’s excursion takes you to the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China.
Sightseeing
After that visits are made to the Ming Tombs and the statue-lined Sacred Way. (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Beijing
Sightseeing
See the locals doing their morning Tai Chi in the park before touring the Temple of Heaven.
Museums
Next visit the Museum of China Ancient Architecture & History of Beijing. A visit to the Hutong (old) District rounds out your tour of Beijing.
Performing Arts

Day 5 - Xian
Beijing - Xian.
Commercial Flight
Take a short flight to Xian.
Hotel
Afterwards you are transferred to your 4* hotel.
Sightseeing

Day 6 - Xian
Sightseeing
This full day sightseeing program begins with a tour of the magnificent History Museum, where the 8000 Terra Cotta Warriors of Emperor Qin have been buried for over 2000 years!

Day 7 - Shanghai
Xian - Shanghai.
Commercial Flight
Fly to Shanghai.
Hotel
Transfer to a 4* hotel.

The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to explore this cosmopolitan, vibrant city! (B)
Day 8 - Shanghai
Sightseeing
A full day city tour highlights the famous Bund, Yu Garden, and the modern Shanghai Museum.
Performing Arts
You will be entertained by a Chinese Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B, L, D)
Day 9 - Suzhou
Shanghai - Suzhou.
Sightseeing
The morning tour takes you to the French Concession, the top of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a bird’s eye view of the city, and the beautiful Jade Buddha Temple.
Commercial Flight
Late afternoon, take a quick flight to Suzhou.

Stay at the deluxe Gateway International Hotel. (B, L, SD)
Day 10 - Suzhou
Sightseeing
Visit the beautiful surrounds of Golden Rooster Lakeside, the New Developing Zone, the classical “Garden of Master of the Nets,” Silk Embroidery Institute, Garden of Lion Rock Forest, and the Ancient Water City Gate across the Grand Canal.
River or Barge Cruise
Then take a cruise along the picturesque ancient Grand Canal! (B, L, D)
Day 11 - Hangzhou
Suzhou - Hangzhou.
Hotel
Depart for Hangzhou and check into the 4* Ramada Hotel.

In the afternoon take a small sampan cruise on West Lake to Yanggon Causey.

You will also have tea at the lakeside Garden of Guo Zhuang Villa. (B, L, D)
Day 12 - Hangzhou
Sightseeing
Visit the ancient Ink & Calligraphy Society and old Qinghefang Street to a Chinese herb medicine museum and store. Hu Xueyan Mansion, a garden home, is also toured. (B, L, D)
Day 13 - Hangzhou
Hangzhou - Wuzhen.
Sightseeing
In the morning drive deep into a green forest valley to Dragon Well Tea Plantation and along Fuchuan River to Pagoda of Six Harmony.
Sightseeing
Next you arrive in Wuzhen, one of the best preserved water towns by the ancient Grand Canal.
Hotel
Travel by boat on the canal to your deluxe Wuzhen Waterside Hotel .
Sightseeing
Explore the city on your own after lunch and get ready for a local banquet in the evening. (B, L, SD)
Day 14 - Shanghai
Wuzhen - Shanghai.
Shopping
The morning is free time to relax, shop and take photographs.
Bus
In the afternoon you will return to Shanghai by a two hour motor coach ride. (B, L )
Day 15 - Shanghai
Shanghai - USA.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight. (B)
