Detailed Trip Description
You will visit many beautiful places in Alexandria, Egypt including Pompey’s Pillar, the Roman Amphitheater, the catacombs of Kom El Shogafa, the Qait Bay Fort, Morsi Abou El-Abbas Mosque, Montezah Palace, Mediterranean resort.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Alexandria
Cairo – Alexandria.
Bus
After breakfast, depart via the desert highway on a leisurely 4 hour drive to the Mediterranean port of Alexandria.
Food and Dining
Lunch stop (included) on the way.
Hotel
On arrival, check-in to your five star hotel.
Sightseeing
Then, in the afternoon, depart on your introductory tour which will stop at all the major sights including Pompey’s Pillar, the Roman Amphitheater, the catacombs of Kom El Shogafa and the Qait Bay Fort.
Food and Dining
The day will end with a delightful dinner at one of the many popular seaside restaurants.
Hotel
Return to your hotel for overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 2 - Alexandria
Sightseeing
Another exciting day at this gorgeous cosmopolitan city! The morning is reserved for sightseeing of the Morsi Abou El-Abbas Mosque built in 1219 and the Morkous Church built in the 1st century.
Sightseeing
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue on to Montezah Palace, once the summer residence of King Farouk, renowned for its magnificent gardens, spread over 350 acres, facing the sandy beaches and the sea.
All-Inclusive Resort
Then, return to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon and evening in this lovely Mediterranean resort!
Shopping
Take a dip in the pool or ocean, or explore the many seaside shops and cafes!

Day 3 - Cairo
Alexandria – Cairo.
Sightseeing
After breakfast, check-out of your hotel, and stop to tour the famous Bibliotheca (Library).
Hotel
Continue your drive back to Cairo where you will check-in to your hotel with the balance of the day at leisure.

Dinner is on your own. (B)
Day 4 - Cairo
Cairo - Home.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flights home. (B)
