Day 1 - On the Plane
Depart USA.
Commercial Flight
Board your overnight transatlantic flight.
Day 2 - Glasgow
Arrive in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sightseeing
Welcome to Glasgow! At 2:30 p.m., meet your Tour Director for an orientation drive around Glasgow.
Food and Dining
Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 - Inverness
Glasgow / Isle Of Skye / Inverness.
Sightseeing
Today is dedicated to the rugged beauty of Scotland’s glens and lochs.
Sightseeing
En route from Glasgow, drive along the “Bonnie Banks" of Loch Lomond via Rannoch Moor, Glen Coe, and Fort William nestled beneath Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.

Take an opportunity to view Loch Ness, the home of the mysterious monster “Nessie", as you continue to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
Day 4 - Inverness
Highlands Excursion.
Sightseeing
Visit Cawdor Castle this morning, famous for its associations with Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Bus
Then on to the battlefields of Culloden, where in 1746 the Jacobite cause perished.
Sightseeing
Finally visit Glen Ord whisky distillery.
Relaxation
This afternoon, enjoy some free time in Inverness.
Day 5 - Aviemore
Inverness / Aviemore.
Bus
Drive through Royal Deeside and pass Balmoral estate, the Queen’s private Highland residence.
Golfing
Stop in the village of Braemar, then on to St. Andrew’s, whose Royal & Ancient Golf Club has given us the rules of golf.
Bus
Continue to Edinburgh, the “Prince of Cities".
Performing Arts
Why not attend an optional Scottish evening including dinner, Highland dancers, bagpipers and the Ceremony of the Haggis?
Day 6 - Edinburgh
Sightseeing
Tour through the regal city from Edinburgh Castle to the Royal Mile and to the fairy-tale Holyrood Palace. This is the city of some intriguing characters such as the Bodysnatchers and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Your afternoon and evening are free. (August 5, 12 and 19 departures include tickets to a Military Tattoo performance.)
Day 7 - Edinburgh
Depart Edinburgh.
Your homebound flight arrives the same day.
