Drive through the Curragh, the heart of Ireland's equestrian country. On to Blarney Castle with its magical stone that gives the gift of eloquence for a kiss.

Time to stop at Blarney Woollen Mills to shop for Waterford crystal and other handicrafts before continuing on to bustling Killarney.

Stroll around the quaint artist village of Kenmare, situated on the mouth of the River Sheen. Then enjoy breathtaking vistas as you journey to Glengariff where you board a local boat and set out on the short journey to Garnish Island.

Also known as Ilnacullin, this small island was transformed into the exotic garden in 1910 by Harold Peto. Framed by views of Bantry Bay, the gardens are land-scaped with neo-classical follies and planted with rich subtropical flora.

This morning cross the Shannon estuary by ferry and enter County Clare. Stop for a walk along the Cliffs of Moher, rising approximately 700 feet above the pounding Atlantic waves.

Visit Kylemore Abbey, a castellated neo-Gothic mansion, occupied by the Irish Benedictine community of nuns who came from Ypres after World War I.
