Cardiff Castle stands impressively in the heart of the city surrounded by some of the best shopping in Wales. The remarkable Millennium Stadium built in 1999 for the Rugby World Cup, now dominates the city. Located on the outskirts is the redeveloped Cardiff Bay with its recently opened Wales Millennium Center. This new building stages musicals, operas, ballet and dance to ensure there is something to entertain everyone.
