Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - 15: Itinerary & Highlights - Netherlands
Begin in the Netherlands and travel all over Europe on this wonderful European vacation.
Sightseeing
On your trip, visit the beautiful rolling Dutch Lowlands, then travel to Flemish Antwerp. Antwerp is the northernmost province of the Flemish Region and of Belgium. It is the most populous province! Then see the amazing Rhine River which is an incredibly important navigable waterway and is 1,320 km long. Then travel to the fairytale medieval town of Rothenberg. Along the way you will be able to stop in Munich. Munich was the home of the controversial 1972 Olympics and is also known for it's famous museums and art galleries. While you're there, sample a local beer and a Schweinebraten- pot roasted pork! On this trip you will also travel to Innsbruck, a town chock full of historical buildings in Austria. The siteseeing in this town will be never-ending as you walk up and down the streets, viewing museums, churches, parks, gardens, and famous buildings. Don't forget to go to the older pedestrian district of Innsbruck. There you will be able to see the famous Goldenes Dachl or Golden Roof with the beautiful alps in the background. From there you can travel to Switzerland to a city called Lucerne. Lucerne is a very popular tourist attraction due to its beautiful location near the alps and also its many landmarks. Don't forget to see the Chapel Bridge which is a wooden bridge built in the 14th century! Finally it's off to Paris where you can visit all the known sites. See the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, and more.
