Detailed Trip Description
Enjoy 16 Days Europe Camping tour featuring sightseeing and many activities in France, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. You will be starting this tour with an Evening Tour of Illuminations in Paris. Before heading to Amsterdam be ready to be amazed when you see the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Champs Élysées, and Notre Dame Cathedral. In Amsterdam, you will see the canals, gable houses and enjoy the city by night. You will visit a cheese farm & clog maker's house, and a fishing and cheese village. Then, take a scenic drive along the Rhine River and visit the riverside town St. Goar in the Rhine Valley before checking out the Medieval Castle in Heidelberg. From there, you will head to Prague to see Hradcany Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square, before taking a scenic drive along the historic Ring Road in Vienna. Before heading to Budapest for sightseeing of Buda, Pest, the Royal Palace, the Church of St. Matthias, the Chain Bridge and Fisherman's Bastion, you will have seen Schönbrunn Palace, St. Stephen's Cathedral & the State Opera House in Vienna. You will then stop in Belgrade to see the Kalemegdan Fortess and the historic old town, in Sarajevo to enjoy a scenic drive along the Drina River valley and through the forest and to see the City Bazaar and the Latin Bridge, where Franz Ferdinand was shot in 1914, igniting World War One. From there, you will take a scenic drive along the Neretva River valley and see the famous bridge, the Old Town and the Ottoman Quarter, home to the city's crafstmen and artists in Mostar. Before your final stop in Split to see Diocletian's Palace, you will stop in Dubrovik to see the fortified city and old port and to take a scenic drive along the Croatian coastline.

Day 1 - Paris
London to Paris.

A warm welcome from your Crew as we head for the White Cliffs of Dover and the Channel crossing to France. We drive past World War I battlefields to the splendour of Paris. ( Dinner )
Day 2 - Paris
Sightseeing
Visit a French perfume house and then take the opportunity to visit the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe or the Champs Elysées?
Food and Dining
Tonight, why not complete your Parisian experience with a French meal and a famous Parisian cabaret? ( Breakfast )
Day 3 - Amsterdam
Paris to Amsterdam.

Three countries in one day today! Leaving France, we travel through Belgium and into the Netherlands and its most famous city, Amsterdam. ( Breakfast, Dinner )
Day 4 - Amsterdam
Sightseeing
This morning why not take a bike ride through the beautiful village of Edam? Then onto Amsterdam for free time to explore famous sights such as Anne Frank's House or the Van Gogh Museum. ( Breakfast )
Day 5 - Heidelberg
Amsterdam to Heidelberg.
Bus
Travelling into Germany, we wind our way through the scenic Rhine Valley.
Sightseeing
A brief stop in the town of St Goar to learn how beer steins are crafted before we reach our destination for the night, Heidelberg. ( Breakfast, Dinner )
Day 6 - Prague
Heidelberg to Prague.
Bus
Today's journey takes us through Bohemia, into the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague.
Shopping
Enjoy the beautiful architecture and excellent shopping. ( Breakfast, Dinner )
Day 7 - Prague
Sightseeing
Plenty of time to enjoy all that Prague offers on your free day. Wander through the Hradcany district, see St Vitus Cathedral and the Charles Bridge.
River or Barge Cruise
Maybe indulge in a cruise along the Vltava River for lunch?
Food and Dining
As the sun sets, grab a Pilsener and settle in to one of the many restaurants for some local fare. ( Breakfast )
Day 8 - Vienna
Prague to Vienna.
Bus
Journey south to Vienna, the majestic capital of Austria.
Sightseeing
This afternoon join us for a sightseeing tour of the Burg Ring and then a chance for an evening of local culture. ( Breakfast )
Day 9 - Budapest
Vienna to Budapest.
Bus
We journey from Vienna across the Hungarian Plains to Budapest.

Tonight a chance to explore this European gem. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 10 - Budapest
Sightseeing
A day to fall under the spell of this jewel of the east.
Shopping
Magnificent views from the castle district, plenty of shopping opportunities.
Museums
Time to appreciate the museums of this former-Communist capital.
Food and Dining

Day 11 - Belgrade
Budapest to Belgrade.

Travelling south we make our way along the flat plains towards the border town of Szeged. Into Serbia, we pass the city of Novi Sad, famous for the July Exit Music Festival, before arriving at one of the oldest capitals in Europe - Belgrade.

Wander through the fortress and take some time to enjoy the busy pedestrian streets. ( Breakfast, Dinner )
Day 12 - Sarajevo
Belgrade to Sarajevo.
Sightseeing
Enjoy the scenery today as we make our way to Bosnia. We travel along the picturesque Drina River valley, past vineyards and through spectacular mountain forest before arriving in Sarajevo.

Time to enjoy the history, culture and architecture of this city emerging from its troubled past. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 13 - Dubrovnik
Sarajevo to Dubrovnik.

Free time this morning, then it's on through diverse countryside and farmlands.

We'll stop in the beautiful town of Mostar for lunch with time to see the 'Old Bridge' and famous neighbourhoods nearby.

Later we'll cross into Croatia and make our way to Dubrovnik. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Sightseeing
Two days to sightsee and explore one of Europe's most breathtaking locations and the jewel of the Croatian coastline, the picturesque walled city of Dubrovnik.
Beach
In your free time enjoy this UNESCO World Heritage Sight by taking a walk along the old town walls or relaxing on the beach. ( Breakfast, Breakfast, Dinner )
Day 16 - Split
Final farewells to your new-found friends as your tour ends on arrival in Split. ( Breakfast )
