Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - On the Plane
Commercial Flight
Board your overnight transatlantic flight.
Day 2 - Paris
Arrive In Paris, France.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Sightseeing
Afterwards, why not enjoy an optional illuminations tour?
Food and Dining
Tonight, join your Tour Director and traveling companions for a Welcome Drink.
Hotel
Stay at Evergreen Laurel (SF).
Day 3 - Avignon
Paris - Avignon.
Bus
An early start this morning to drive along the “Autoroute du Soleil,” past Auxerre and through the vineyards of Burgundy to the Rhône Valley.
Sightseeing
Then on to Avignon, where an orientation tour highlights the Palace of the Popes and the famous St. Benezet Bridge. (B,D)

Stay at Mercure Cite des Papes (F).
Day 4 - Aix-en-Provence
Avignon - Pont Du Gard - Arles - Aix-en-Provence.
Sightseeing
Drive to the 2,000-year-old aqueduct, the Pont du Gard. Next, visit Les Baux-de-Provence on foot before traveling through Les Alpilles and Van Gogh country to Arles. See the Roman amphitheatre and Romanesque Cathedral and enjoy a guided walking tour of the city following in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh.

Finally, on to the spa town of Aix-en-Provence.

Day 5 - Nice
Aix-en-Provence - St. Tropez - Nice.
Small Ship or Yacht Cruise
Enjoy a scenic drive to St. Tropez. From here, take a boat cruise to pretty Ste. Maxime.

Reboard the coach for the drive to elegant Nice. (B,D)

Stay at Boscolo Plaza (SF).
Day 6 - Nice
Monte Carlo Excursion.
Sightseeing
Start the day with an orientation tour in Nice. Drive along the scenic Promenade des Anglais and enjoy the splendid views.
Gambling
Then travel to Monaco, to visit Monte Carlo and try your luck in a casino. (B)
Day 7 - Lyon
Nice - Cannes - Lyon.
Sightseeing
Travel through Cannes along the Boulevard de la Croisette, seeing the Film Festival Centre. Then via Manosque and the Durance Valley to reach Sisteron for a short break. Finally, an Alpine drive along the Col de la Croix leads to Lyon.

Day 8 - Paris
Lyon - Dijon - Paris.
Sightseeing
Travel via the vineyards of Macon to historic Dijon. There is time to explore the town and shop for mustard and wine.

Stay at Renaissance La Defense (SF).
Day 9 - Paris
Sightseeing
Today's sightseeing tour includes the ascent of the Eiffel Tower to the second level by elevator, views of the Champs Elysées, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde. A highlight is a walking tour through the Gardens of Les Invalides to visit the tomb of the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

Depart Paris.
