Detailed Trip Description
It is probably your first voyage to the Galapagos Islands, and you want to do it right. Welcome aboard the M/S Beagle, a 105 foot sailing and motor ship accommodating only you and 12 other passengers. As you travel from island to island, the expert naturalist and guide points out the unique behavioral and physical characteristics these magnificent plants and animals have developed as they have evolved and adapted to each unique island habitat. Your 8-day voyage allows you to visit all the major sites in the archipelago, including the outer islands. Nowhere else can you observe, photograph and interact so closely with exotic wildlife as you venture among cinder cones, lava flows, white and black sand beaches, rocky cliffs and shorelines. Plan to hike, snorkel and sea kayak to gain the most of your Galapagos experience.
