Day 1 - Paro

 
Commercial Flight

Fly from Kathmandu to Paro.

Private Car Service

Upon arrival meet with our tour coordinator and drive to Thimpu.

Day 2 - Thimphu

 
Sightseeing

Full day local sight-seeing tour in Thimpu.


Day 3 - Punakha

Drive over the spectacular Dochula Pass (3100m) to the warm and fertile valley of Punakha.

Sightseeing

Visit the historic Punakha Dzong. Once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan. The magnificent Dzong is sprawled between The Pho Chu and Mo Chu River.

Day 5 - Bhutan

Drive to the valley of Bhumthang 210 kms/08 hrs.) Through the Yotola Pass (3440m).

Sightseeing

This valley is considered a very sacred place for the Bhutanese with many temples and holy places.

Day 6 - Bhutan

Drive to Mebartsho, a holy site and pilgrimage place also known as The Burning Lake.

Visit The Jakar Dzong (castle of white bird). Kurjey Lhkhang and the Swiss Farm.

Drive back to Thimpu (267 kms/08 hrs) takes you via Tongsa and Wangdiphodrang.

Visit The Drukyel Dzong and The National Museum located in the Ta Dzong.
