Detailed Trip Description
Bali is a place of such vast physical, cultural, and spiritual beauty that it can be truly called a paradise. Volcanic hills are sculpted with precision into verdant terraces and rice fields. Authentic lifestyles remain unchanged in many villages, where beautiful young girls dance the legong. The Balinese live in harmony with nature, and honor the gods through Hindu ceremonies and rituals held at sacred temples numbering in the tens of thousands.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - On the Plane
Commercial Flight
You will leave the USA for your flight to Bali via Singapore on a late night flight. The adventure begins!
Day 2 - On the Plane

Day 3 - Indonesia
Hotel
You will arrive in Lombok where your guide will meet you and transfer you to your beach resort hotel. D.
Day 4 - Indonesia
Snorkeling
Today you will travel via boat to one of the Gili Islands. Here you can enjoy the white sand beaches and the clear waters for snorkeling, scuba diving or surfing. Just let us know your preferences are. B,L.
Day 5 - Indonesia
Sightseeing
At 06 am, leave the hotel heading east of Lombok for Sembalun Lawang Village, the starting point for the climb. Rest for a while waiting for a light preparation, and after everything gets ready, leave Sembalun Lawang for Tengengean and have rest at an Opened Stilt House – the native call it Berugak. From Tengengean proceed to Pade Balong Spring Water for Lunch.
Hiking
After lunch turn left to climb up to Cemara Sewu and Cemara Lima located at more ao less 2900 m above sea level.
Camping
Establish tent and overnight here. L, D.
Day 6 - Indonesia
Sightseeing
At 02 am, set off to reach the top or peak of the volcano for Sunrise and the amazing scenery of surroundings.
Fishing
From the top we then descend to Segara Anak Lake (this takes anywhere from 5 to 6 hours) where we can find good camping ground on the lake edge. There are hot springs nearby or you may even want to try a touch of fishing in the lake.

Day 7 - Indonesia
Hiking
Today depart early for climb to the rim before it gets hot, then it's all down hill to Senaru on the north face of Mount Rinjani.
Hotel
This takes most of the day (5 to 6 hours) and Van with driver is ready to take you back to your hotel. Where you can relax. B, L.
Day 8 - Indonesia
Beach
This morning you will have some free time to enjoy the local beaches, visit the local shops or even just hang around your hotel.
Commercial Flight
You will then be picked up at your hotel for your flight to Bali.
Sightseeing
Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and taken to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana and the cultural park. Then we will take you to the Uluwatu Temple.
Performing Arts
Afterwards you can enjoy the sunset while watching the performance of Kechak Dance.
Food and Dining
Afterwards we will take you to dinner.

Then we will drive back to the hotel where the rest of the evening is at your own leisure. B, L, D.
Day 9 - Indonesia
Sightseeing
The day will begin early with a drive west up the south side of the island. You will stop at Tanah Lot Temple. Then we will drive you inland to Belingbing, where you will see some spectacular countryside. You will have lunch in the area.
Sightseeing
Then we will give you a walk through nature (1- 3 hours, depending on your stamina and desires). B, L, D.
Day 10 - Indonesia
Sightseeing
Free Day; explore the beautiful countryside, go on hikes, and enjoy the resort and the natural beauty. B.
Day 11 - Indonesia
Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Munduk and Bedugul. We will see beautiful countryside and rice terraces along the way, as well as, the beauty of twin lakes, Buyan and Tamblingan. Some stops will also be made on the way, the waterfall at Munduk, then Pura Ulun Danu Beratan at Bedugul which is built on the shores of the lake and the spice / fruit market at Candikuning.
Food and Dining
Lunch will be provided at Local Restaurant. The next stop will be made at Mengwi, which was one of the main island kingdoms. Then we will take you to the Batur area.

There we will check you into your boutique local hotel.
Day 12 - Indonesia
Sightseeing
Today we will give you some nature walks in the valley of the volcano area. There are some lovely nature walks in this area. Your guide will show you the best of the area. B, L, D.
Day 13 - Ubud
Hotel
Then we will drive you in the afternoon you will arrive in the Ubud area and check you into your resort outside of the town. B, L.
Day 14 - Ubud
Shopping
Today we will take you to the Monkey Forest Road where there are some delightful shops, restaurants and coffee shops to visit. We will take you to a Masks, Antiques and Puppets shop which has many incredible collections.
Arts, Crafts and Antiques
After lunch you will visit the Seniwati which is a gallery specializing in Women's Art. B, L, D.
Day 15 - Ubud
Performing Arts
You will leave early in the morning to see an excellent Barong Dance. This is the traditional Balinese Hindu dance.
Sightseeing
Afterwards we will take you to a Master Mask Maker. The rest of the day is free. B, L.
Day 16 - Nusa Dua
Cooking Classes
Today you will have a leisurely morning. You will have a cooking class where you can learn to cook typical Balinese dishes.
Hotel
We will drive you to the hotel for accommodation. The rest of the day is free at leisure. B, L. Hotel: Nusa Dua Beach hotel.
Day 17 - Nusa Dua
Beach
Today is a free day to enjoy the beach. OR..
Ocean Cruise
We can take you on a cruise to Lebongan Island off the east side of Bali where you can snorkel, swim in a pool, walk around the island, take a variety of tours, utilize a glass bottom boat, etc.
Shopping
We will take you to the City Market in Denpasar and the fabric district.
Day 18 - Nusa Dua
Today you will fly home with a lifetime of wonderful memories
