Experience the dramatic panoramas of Africa from the air as you are flown to begin your mini adventure of discovery. Meru is famous for its birdlife, including both the riverine and forest species as well as the arid species. Here visitors will see a more diverse range of species than in any other Park or Reserve. Common sightings include Eland, Beisa Oryx, Gerenk, Elephant, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Grant’s Gazelle, Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Hyena, Black and White Rhino and the rare elusive Lesser Kudu.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Meru
Welcome to Meru, Kenya.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Meru National Park, - vast arid, open plains dotted with Doum Palms and Baobab trees and lush vegetation along 13 rivers, like green ribbons, bisecting the Park.
National Parks
Here visitors will see a more diverse range of species than in any other Park or Reserve. Common sightings include Eland, Beisa Oryx, Gerenk, Elephant, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Grant’s Gazelle, Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Hyena, Black and White Rhino and the rare elusive Lesser Kudu.
