Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Amsterdam

Amsterdam
Hotel

We´ll meet you in your hotel lobby at 6 p.m. If after the long journey you still feel like going to a chilled coffee-shop, you might as well go to the one provided by your quality tourist class hotel, where you will spend the next 3 nights right in the middle of downtown, where night-life and culture go hand in hand.

Day 2 - Amsterdam

Explore Amsterdam.
Museums

We´ll meet you guys around eleven to go (as every day) over the possibilities for the day. Today we will get you started on typical dutch life-style, best-done with a trip to the Amsterdam Hemp- Museum. Here you will get a thorough insight in what hemp is good for (it´s not only what you think).

Amsterdam Museums picture
Shopping

For those who are more into getting to know the landscape of the city, we´ll take you to the famous Amsterdam flea-market where you can buy the most useless crap you can imagine.

Nightlife

As it is a Friday night you will need to get over your jet-lag and get to know lots of fellow students in one of Duke´s legendary pup crawls! We show you the best spots to party down!

Day 3 - Amsterdam

Take a tour of Amsterdam.
Museums

Today you better be not too hungover because some major must-see attractions are waiting for you. First see where Anne Frank spent the last days of her free life. Her house is now the most popular Dutch museum and local guides will take you on a good look around.*

Shopping

After you´ve been experiencing this certainly not light experience, you might wanna take yourself shopping to buy some “legal” souvenirs. To do that we´ll also take you to Chinatown as some nice little shops are waiting for you there.

Nightlife

At night we will be just as excited as you to take you out to major clubbing destinations in Amsterdam´s famous Red Light District!

Day 4 - Hamburg

Explore Hamburg Nightlife.
Bus

You´ll be boarding the bus late morning to take you on our way to Hamburg. If you are interested, we can stop by a typical German brewery* for you to learn where all those tasty golden pints that you are drinking come from.

Hotel

Back on the bus you will be let out by your hotel right on the legendary Reeperbahn, Europe´s party mile number one, where even Amsterdam can hardly compete with. Take a good look around, because after those crazy nights you´ll have here for the next couple of days, you might wanna know the exact location of your hotel!

Nightlife

Friday nights have become popular among locals to be “Funky Pussy”- Nights meaning the Funky Pussy Club is the place to go that day. Hard to get in, but, hey, you´re with Duke´s!

Day 5 - Hamburg

Take a tour of Hamburg.
Sightseeing

In the morning you might have problems waking up, but always keep in mind that there are awesome activities waiting! This time we have a boat rented for you to take you around Hamburg Harbor, the second biggest one in Europe and definitely the most secretive one with its thousands of cranes and little alleys. You don´t wanna encounter people here at night time, that´s for sure!

Sightseeing

If the harbor didn´t freak you out yet, then the Hamburg Dungeon might, a spooky place giving you an insight of the cruel history of the city. As an alternative we offer you a shopping tour through the fanciest stores Hamburg has to offer.

Nightlife

Saturday night is the night where usually the Reeperbahn is packed with people from all over Germany, coming to experience a wild night in one of the hundreds bars and pubs. We´ll take you to the best spots!

Day 6 - Hamburg

Full day in Hamburg.
Sporting Events

Today, we have two very special options for you: One is to check out a professional soccer match of the successful local team HSV, with around 60,000 people being in the incredible stadium waving flags the size of houses. Sadly known for their Hooligan background, the HSV fans are not good to talk to...

Beach

The alternative for those who are tired is the chilled out Beach Club, an artificial beach set up on the coast line of the Elbe River, right in the city center. Kick back with a nice cocktail to let the terrific last days sink in.

Nightlife

At night you will have the choice between a smooth pubcrawl in the Schanzenviertel, or another party in a former air-raid shelter, a huge building not made for, but perfect for such events.

Day 7 - Berlin

Hamburg - Berlin.
Bus

As you will (and take that as a promise) be tired from the night before, you might even enjoy our relaxed bus ride to Berlin, where you will get to see Central Germany´s village-covered landscape.

Berlin Bus picture
Sightseeing

We will stop in Bergen-Belsen, a town where a former concentration camp* used to be and now a memorial reminds visitors of all victims. You will again be guided by a competent employee.

Villa Rental

At night you´ll check in our first-class fancy apartments, where we will show you a couple of Germany´s best movies.

Day 8 - Berlin

Full day in Berlin.

As our focus has been lying on partying and experiencing the wild and tolerant Dutch life-style, it is now time to show you some interesting, historical places. First we´ll give you a good look around the city, which will pretty much take most of the day as Berlin is by far the biggest city in Germany. During that tour we´ll give you a view from the “Alex”, a huge tower, where you see the whole city. Experience a light Pubcrawl on Prenzlauer Berg, the University quarter of the city.

Day 9 - Berlin

Take tour of Berlin.
Sightseeing

After a typical German bakery breakfast, we´ll head to see the German parliament building, the Reichstag*, renovated only a few years ago by famous architect Norman Foster. With its huge glass dome, it is one of Europe´s most impressive buildings.

Berlin Sightseeing picture
Museums

For those who still don´t have enough museum-style experiences, we can take you to see Checkpoint Charlie-Museum. Also, there is the Sony Center waiting for you, a multi-media, high-technology supercenter with features that will make you stare in amazement!

Nightlife

Berlin´s night-life is going on the whole week and we know the spots to go! So be prepared for some wicked Wednesday-night action!

Day 10 - Berlin

Full day in Berlin.
Sightseeing

As it is the last day in Germany´s capital, you have the choice between going to the best shopping streets in town or a trip to the Tropical Island Amusement Park, a former Zeppellin manufacturing hall, where now a huge simulated 85 degree beach paradise has been set up.

Museums

Also we can take you to several other interesting museums such as the “German History”-Museum, the German Guggenheim or the Jewish Museum Berlin.

Nightlife

Famous in Berlin are the clubs by the Hackeschen Market where you can pre-drink in one of the beer halls before you either hit the “Dante” or the “90°”.

Day 11 - Prague

Berlin - Prague.
Bus

On our smooth bus ride to Prague we will stop by the beautiful castle Sans-Soucci* where 100 years ago the German Kaiser hung out. After an all encompassing look around the romantic Royal Garden, you´ll be guided through the magnificent hallways and ball rooms of the New Palace.

Sightseeing

Your transfer to Prague will be one of a kind through a beautiful landscape across eastern Germany and the Czech Republic. Once arriving in Prague, we will give you a good look around town, so you will find your way through those little, romantic alleys.

Nightlife

At night, there are unlimited Pub-possibilities, ranging from typical Eastern Europe Strip-Clubs (Cocktails 2$) to high-society cafés (Cocktails 50$)! Our Partner Bars are located right downtown, so why not hang out there for a start?

Day 12 - Prague

Take a tour of Prague.

Be prepared for yet another cultural shock as we will show you everything that historical town has to offer! At first, we´ll take you to the most famous Prague Castle* from where you can basically see most of the Czech Republic and of course all of Prague.

Shopping

On our way back, we will cross the Karlsbridge, where dozens of artists and merchants provide a turkish bazaar feeling by trying to sell their junk as hard as possible. As downtown Prague will capture your spending and souvenir shopping desire, we´ll show you some good shops and locations to do so!

Nightlife

Prague is proud to have Central Europe´s biggest night club! It has 5 floors and on Saturday it should be even more packed than usual!

Day 13 - Prague

Full Day at Prague.

It is our last full day together, so we have some light activities for you to slowly get back to normal, earthly life. You will have the opportunity to check out the Charles University of Prague, one of the most traditional schools in Europe.

Shopping

The rest of the day you will need to spend the rest your money, because Czech Republic is one of the cheapest countries in Europe and it will take you a long time to get rid of all those Krones!

Day 14 - Prague

Prague.
Relaxation

Our trip ends at 11:00 a.m.. As sad as it is, but from now on you´ll be on your own. However, if you need any help in planning your ongoing travel, we´ll be happy to assist you. And for those of you planning to study abroad, we can hook you up with connections to the responsible person from the respective university!
