This 7 days tour will give you the impressive combination of culture and arts. You will start from Luang Prabang, the home of Cultural Heritage site, move to Vientiane Capital, where you have chance to stay and have an overnight with local people. This tour will give you the great chance to learn more about the secret of wonderful hand-made cloths.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Laos

 
We start the tour by visiting the sleeping beauty city of World Heritage, Luang Prabang

Day 1: Arrival, Luang Prabang. Pick up at the airport, transfer to hotel for check in, we then take sight seeing tour to discover the sleeping beauty city of World Cultural Heritage, Luang Prabang. Here you can still breathe in its tranquility and capture the spirit of old Laos. We visit Wat Visoun Temple - The originally was built in 1513 by King Visounarath made of wood. It was destroyed by Black Chinese (Hor) in 1887, and latter rebuilt again still keep the same style. Now has become the museum of the temple.
Visit the National Museum (Former Royal Palace) which was collected the antiques keep inside included sacred Prabang Buddha statues. Visit Wat Xiengthong Temple which is the most beautiful and the oldest temple was built in 1560. We then move to Wat Mai Temple, clime up to the Phousi Mount to see the view of Luang Prabang by 328 steps to the top. And have a walk at the night market. Accommodation in Luang Prabang.

Day 2 - On the Bus

 
Today we visit the beautiful view of the tranquil countryside, the mysterious Pak Ou Cave

Day 2: Pak Ou Cave. Today we take by traditional boat up stream on Mekong River, which also gives you a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interested discovering the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at Ban Xanghai Village, where they make the distillation of local rice wine (made of sticky rice). Return back to Luang Prabang, visit textile villages: Ban Xieng Lek Village and Ban Xangkhong Village. Accommodation at Hotel.

Day 3 - On the Bus

 
We will enjoy and relax with famous Kuangsi Waterfall

Day 3: Kuangsi Waterfall.
After breakfast, we drive around 30 km to Kuangsi Waterfall, the beautiful spot for picnics, swimming and relaxing. On the way we stop at Ban Na Sao, Ban Na Ouan - Hmong villages. On Arrival at waterfall, we walk through forest with short trekking (Possible to swim). Return back to Luang Prabang at leisure on your own.

Day 4 - On the Plane

 
We flight from Luang Prabang to Vientiane Capital. In Vientiane, visit the famous religious museum of temples

Day 4: Luang Prabang - Vientiane (by flight). Morning - Early morning offering the food to Monks, over 300 Monks walking a line on street side for collecting food. And then do not miss to see local market, we then come back to hotel for breakfast, you have free time till transfer to Airport for flight to Vientiane. Afternoon in Vientiane - After lunch, taking for sight seeing tour to visit religious museum Wat Sisakhet Temple, the oldest temple, its cloister contains more than 8.000 Buddha statues, Hor Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statues, but today it contains a collections of Buddha statues, antiques and all artifacts found around Vientiane. Visit That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa containing a piece of the chest of Buddha. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 5 - On the Bus

 
Today, we enjoy visiting well known handicraft sites in Vientiane. Have an overnight at village if you prefer

Day 5: Vientiane - Ban Horm / Ban Phol Village (Home stay).
After breakfast, we drive to Ban Horm /Ban Phol Village to learn about villager life style, maybe participating in planting vegetable, sprinting silk, making wooden basket and enjoy dinner with villagers, you will see the authentic conditional life of Lao Lum people. Overnight at: villager’s home.

Day 6 - Laos

 
You will enjoy learning and trying to produce hand made clothes and wooden baskets with villagers

Day 6: Ban Horm / Ban Phol - Vientiane. In the morning learning how to weave clothes (produce handmade Lao skirts which made of silk) or making wooden plate / basket with villagers, then return back for lunch in Vientiane, at leisure on your own.

Day 7 - On the Plane

 
This morning you take leisure at your own until departure
Commercial Flight

Day 7: Vientiane - Departure. At leisure in the morning until transfer to Wattay Airport for departure.
