Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Kochi
DAY 1: - COCHIN (KOCHI) Meet on arrival and transfer to Hotel, depending on the arrival time to Cochin sightseeing or relax, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - Kochi
DAY 2: - COCHIN Morning breakfast and full day city sightseeing,

Morning breakfast and full day city sightseeing, visit to Maritime Museum - The Maritime Museum, located at INS Dronacharya in Kochi throws light on the genesis, history, evolution and landmarks of the Indian Navy. Indo- Portuguese Museum - The museum today is an important center to understand the Indo-Portuguese Christian Art heritage, which is still surviving. The museum is the outcome of the untiring efforts of the late Dr. Joseph Kureethra, Bishop of Kochi. Fort Kochi - The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Kochi thus became a haven for seafaring visitors from all over the world and became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century . Vasco da Gama Square - An ideal place to watch fishermen use these nets is the Vasco da Gama square, a narrow promenade along the beach. The square, which has numerous stalls serving fresh delicious seafood, tender coconut and so on, is also perfect for a nice, relaxed evening. Willingdon Island - Named after Lord Willingdon, a former British Viceroy of India, this man-made island is surrounded by beautiful backwaters. The island is the site of the city's best hotels and trading centers, the Port Trust and the headquarters of the southern naval command. Bolghatty Island - This lush, lovely island is famous for its palace of the same name. The Bolghatty Palace, built in 1744 by the Dutch and later taken over by the British. Evening return to resort, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Kochi
DAY 3: - COCHIN / MUNNAR (130 KMS / 04 HRS) Morning breakfast and checkout of the resort and proceed to Munnar

Morning breakfast and checkout of the resort and proceed to Munnar - one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. On arrival check into resort, lunch. Later on half day sightseeing, visit to Lock Heart Gap - This is an ideal place for adventure tourism and trekking. The fresh mountain air, the mist-clad hills and panoramic view make it worthy of a visit. Echo Point - This scenic place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon here. Echo Point is on the way to Top Station. Nyayamakad - is a land of breathtaking waterfalls. The waters cascade down a hill from a height of about 1600 meters. The enchanting surroundings makes an excellent picnic spot and trekking point. Return back to the resort, dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Kochi
DAY 4: - MUNNAR Morning breakfast and proceed to full day sightseeing,

Morning breakfast and proceed to full day sightseeing, visit to Anayirankal - It's a lush green carpet of tea plants. A trip on the splendid reservoir is an unforgettable experience. The Anayirankal Dam is surrounded by the Tata Tea Plantation and evergreen forests. It is an ideal picnic spot. Pothamedu - offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks. Tea Museum - Munnar is perhaps the choicest of places to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects on the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala's high ranges. Return back to the resort, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 - Kochi
DAY 5: MUNNAR / THEKKADY (110 KMS / 03 HRS) Morning breakfast and check out of the resort and proceed to Thekkady - 900-1800 m above sea level Rainfall: 2500 mm The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations.
Bed & Breakfast
On arrival check into the resort. Lunch and relax. Later on visit to The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake - an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants can be seen. Return back to the resort, dinner and overnight
Day 6 - Kochi
DAY 6: - THEKKADY /KUMARAKOM: (125 KMS / 03 HRS) Morning breakfast and check out of the resort and proceed to Kumarakom. On arrival at Kumarakom, check into Houseboat.
River or Barge Cruise
The Houseboat takes you along the backwaters of Kumarakom and ends at Alleppey. (All meals are provided in the Houseboat).
Day 7 - Kochi
DAY 7: - ALLEPPEY / KOVALAM: (175 KMS / 04 KMS) Morning breakfast in the Houseboat, later on checkout of the Houseboat at Alleppey and proceed Kovalam.
Private Car Service
On arrival check into one of the beach side resort, lunch and relax. Later on enjoy the sunset at the beach. Dinner and overnight
Day 8 - Kochi
DAY 08: KOVALAM: Morning breakfast and proceed to day excursion to Kanyakumari
Sightseeing
Kanyakumari - Described as the southernmost end of Tamil Nadu, the land end of India or the point where the land's three seas meet, enchanting Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin is one of the most popular tourist spots in the state and indeed, in the country. Cape Comorin is at its best during Chitra Pournami (full moon day in April) when the sun and moon are face to face at the same horizon but other full moon days are also special when you can see the sun set and the moon rise almost simultaneously, as if by prior arrangement. Return back to the resort, dinner and overnight.
Day 9 - Kochi
DAY 9: - KOVALAM / TRIVANDRUM: (20 KMS / 30 MINS) Morning breakfast and checkout of the resort and proceed to Trivandrum International Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Tour Ends
