Detailed Trip Description
Experience this extraordinary trip to Arusha, Tanzania and observe some of Africa's most spectacular wildlife in their natural habitats. We will travel to Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Tarangire National Park to experience the African environment. Only by camping in the African environment can one fully appreciate its beauty.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Arusha
Hotel
Depart from Arusha with packed lunches to Lake Manyara National Park. Full day game drive, later in the afternoon drive to Lake Manyara Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Tanzania
After breakfast, we depart with packed lunches for Serengeti National Park (approx. 5hr drive), via Olduvai Gorge (Pre-Historic site) for a short visit at the famous site of Dr Leacky. We arrive at Serengeti by 3pm and proceed for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Campsite.
Day 3 - Tanzania
Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.
Day 4 - Tanzania
After a half day game drive in Serengeti, have hot lunch at the camp and thereafter depart for Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
Day 5 - Tanzania
After breakfast, we depart with packed lunches, descending into the Crater for a full day game drive. Have lunch by the Hippo Pool and later by 3pm, proceed to Tarangire National Park for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Kigongoni Camp.
Day 6 - Arusha
Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Late lunch at the camp and thereafter proceed back to Arusha (approx. time of arrival 5pm).
