Enjoy a 17 day adventure where you will pass through Venice - Milan - Florence - Sorrento - Rome.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 and 2 - On Foot

 
Walking and seeing local tourist highlights - St Mark's Square - Rialto Bridge...
Sightseeing

Transfer from airport to hotel by boat- doing it by a private transfer is a truly romantic gesture!
Walk the small streets in Venice - have a coffee in St Mark's while watching the birds and the tourists. Take boat ride out to Murano – tour several glass factories where you enjoy watching the local artisans blowing and shaping glass art.
See bowls - vases -plates and lamps being formed....



Day 3 and 4 - Modena

 
Drive from Venice to Modena
Sightseeing

Modena is the location of the Ferrari Museum. While driving in Modena you will be sure to see a lot of Ferraris everywhere- in the museum - out on the rest track - dining in the area - WOW!
Perfect for anyone who loves Ferraris! There are also a number of other car factories in the area.
Stay at a local hotel and enjoy being in a city with so many exotic

Keep in wind when driving that Italian highways are different than ours in many ways - they are narrow.....and do not have the 'emergency' lane...


Day 5 - 6 - 7 - Florence

Sightseeing

You can either driveon the small roads, or try the toll roads to Florence
While in Florence, take a guided tour and visit the important art treasure... Some of which include: La Accademiia “David” – the Golden Doors to Paradise! And a museum. During your three day stay you can take a tour of the surrounding area – maybe out to Pisa or you can visit San Gimingnano – the Chianti wine area…You can also visit the Uffizi Gallery to shop!


Day 8 - 9 - 10 - Greve

 
Sightseeing

Stay in a villa – in a hotel on a hilltop town and spend days tasting
Local wines – perhaps even sending some back home.


Day 11- 12 -13 - Sorrento

 
Sightseeing

Enjoy 3 days in Sorrento where you can tour Pompeii, drive along the Amalfi Coast and visit the isle of Capri.


Day 14 - 15 - 16 -17 - Rome

 
Return car and transfer to hotel.\ Transfers makes it easy to be taken to a hotel when you do not know the city - nor the language!
Sightseeing

You can choose to either stay near the Vatican, the Spanish steps or another area of your liking. While in Rome, you can enjoy the following activities: ½ day overview tour of important sites in Rome, go back on your own and visit your favorite sites at your own pace or Visit the Vatican to name a few. You can also enjoy shopping and touring and perhaps have dinner at Alfredos and taste the original Spaghetti Alfredo.
