Day 4 Tuesdays - Sorrento
Take a ferry from Sorrento to Capri and enjoy the day in Capri!
The craggy, flower covered Island of Capri is home to any number of artistic, historical and natural wonders. Although this "paradise of idleness", surrounded by the bluest of seas, has been enchanting visitors for centuries, in recent years more than a touch of cosmopolitan glamour has been added - in the the form of designer shops, luxury spas, sumptuous hotels and the holidaying glitterati.
There is so much to see – from the ruins of Roman villas to splendid private residences set in flower-filled grounds glimpsed through intricately wrought gates. You can wander along little lanes, amidst gardens overflowing with bougainvilla, plumbago, grapevines and mandevilla. You can swing above roof tops and vegetable patches on the cable car to the mountain top. You can climb rocky paths leading to fabulous views of the island and the azure sea.

This excursion will take you to one of the most visited sites in Italy: Pompeii. Walk through the ancient streets of Pompeii where you can see the baths, forums and villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 BC. Marvel at the fabulously preserved frescoes which adorned the walls and floors of the villas. Even if your interests do not lie in history, you will still be incredibly impressed by this massive archaeological site. You will be able to visit some of these fascinating spots, the Amphitheatre, Gymnasium, House of Menandro, The Grand theatre and Small theatre, Gladiators Barracks, Thermal baths, House of Vetti. The guided tour of the ruins will last approximately two hours.
Day 6 Thursdays - Sorrento
Enjoy a free day on your own
A trip to Sorrento is full of possibilities, enjoy a splash in the Naples Bay, a walk through the lively pedistrian only steets at night, or an enjoyable day exploring the ruins of Pompeii. A short trip to Naples will take you to the National Museum that houses some of the best frescoe's and art work from Pompeii. You can catch a bus that takes you on a spectacular but hair raising drive through the Amalfi Coast. You will pass through villages built along the cliffs that have some of the most beautiful churches and architecture in the area. Take a ferry to the Isle of Capri where you can shop like you are on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, or take the walk through tree lined walkways to the Nature Park. Capri also has the famed Blue Lagoon, and amazing cave with the most crystal blue waters imaginable.
