This year’s famous Pushkar fair is from October 31 – November 9th. Pushkar Fair, like many of the Indian fairs, is a colorful, unforgettable event. This weeklong event brings camels, herders and traders from far and wide in India to buy and sell not only their camels, but other goods and products. Even marriages are arranged as traders from all corners of the country meet. The celebrations and colors mirror the diversity of the villages and their people. Walk along the tents of the bazaar to find interesting crafts to purchase as a memory of this incredible venue. Photographers will love this opportunity to capture breathtaking images. Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Airport. Our company representative will meet you at the airport and assist you with transfer to your hotel. Your tour representative is at your service throughout your trip.

Day 2 - Delhi
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of the city. Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries and has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which has left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles.

Day 3 - Agra
Start for Agra early in the morning after breakfast for sightseeing. Agra, once a small village was transformed by the two great Mogul Monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mogul Empire giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {Seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Moguls still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mogul heritage very openly.

Day 4 - Jaipur
After breakfast, begin your journey to Jaipur. Chand Baori is a famous stepwell situated in the village Abhaneri near Jaipur. This step well is located opposite Harshat Mata Temple and is one of the deepest and largest step wells in India. It was built in 9th century and has 3500 narrow steps and 13 stories and is 100 feet deep.

Day 5 -
Following breakfast, begin discovering the jewels of Jaipur. Jaipur, also popularly known as the Pink City, is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, the city today has a population of more than 3.5 million. Jaipur is the first planned city of India, located in the semi-desert lands of Rajasthan. The city which once had been the capital of the royalty now is the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal families.

Later drive to Pushkar. En-route you will see the teeming masses congregating towards the fair grounds. On arrival check-in to your camp.
Day 6 -
Pushkar is situated 6 miles from the town of Ajmer and 80 miles from Jaipur.
This picturesque little temple town is one of the holiest centers of Hinduism. Pushkar is also world famous for its annual Camel fair. Each year up to 200,000 people flock to Pushkar for the camel fair bringing with them 50,000 camels and cattle. The fair is festive with animal trading, horse and camel races, competitions and stunt shows. Local artisans and musicians fill the air with their talent. Basic camel carts are provided during your visits to the fair.
Accommodation at Pushkar is in special tents with its own attached bathroom and a bedroom along with a small sit-out area. Bathrooms are private with cold running water 24 hours a day.
Dinner and overnight in Camp
Day 7 -
Visit the fairgrounds in the morning. Later return to Camp for lunch.
After lunch drive to Jaipur (approximately 3 hours) and check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 - Delhi
After breakfast, drive to Delhi (approximately 5 hours) and upon arrival transfer to airport to board your onward flight.
