Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Israel
DAY 1: Wed., Mar. 2 We meet in Tel Aviv and begin the first day of our adventure. Traveling along the coastal highway we arrive at our destination: Mt. Carmel. Here we will enjoy an incredible hike from Nahal Oren to little Switzerland, (THIS WILL BE CHANGED BECAUSE OF FIRE)where Elijah hid from Jezebel. We’ll see the beautiful geological formations on the mountain that were created when Mt. Carmel was covered by the water of the Mediterranean Sea. Next, we’ll visit the lovely Bahaii Gardens and on to Acre the fascinating Crusader city where an underground world was only discovered in the 1950’s. Finally, we travel to the picturesque city of Pekiin, where we take a stroll through the winding streets and alleys and then join our Druze host, Kamal, for a delicious dinner. Day 2 - Israel
DAY 2: Thurs., Mar. 3 Our adventure continues with a gorgeous and exciting hike on Mt. Meron, the second highest mountain in Israel, only after Mt. Hermon. We’ll start in an ancient Jewish mining village and will climb up to the top of the mountain where we’ll have an incredible view of the Sea of Galilee, the border of Lebanon, Mt. Meron and the Golan Heights. We’ll have an exciting climb down via Nahal Meron where we’ll climb down large boulders and reach the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the author of the Zohar, the main book of the Kabbalah. Next, we’ll travel to one of the four holy cities of Israel, Safed, the mystical city of the Kabbalah and the Jewish spiritualists. Here, we’ll have a guided tour through the ancient streets, visiting ancient cities, alleys of the Kabbalistic artists, whose art expresses the mystery of the Zohar. We then make our way to the shores of the Sea of Galilee or as it is known in Hebrew, the Kinneret. Overnight: Karei Deshe Guest House

Day 3 - Israel

Day 4 - Israel
Our hike today is Nahal Tabor, where the biblical Deborah lived. This is a beautiful hike where we’ll see gorgeous wildflowers, and lovely volcanic basalt canyons. Next, we’ll travel to Bet Shean, an amazing archeological park, not unlike Pompeii, with the city left in well preserved ruins after an earthquake.We continue south finally arrive at our overnight destination, a Bedouin tent, where we will have an extraordinary experience enjoying a Bedouin feast, an outdoor campfire and spending time with a Bedouin Sheikh who will tell us about his culture. Day 5 - Israel
Today we have a magical hike crossing the Judean desert from west to east through the dry stream of “Nahal Tzehelim.” We will pass trough 3 beautiful canyons, have an exciting climb over boulders where we’ll encounter a hidden spring. Overnight: Masada Guest House

Day 6 - Israel
This morning we will visit Masada by cable car to learn about this amazing archeological wonder, where King Herod built his summer palace and the Zealots from the Great Revolt spent their final days. There is also an option for those who would like to climb Masada. Later, we travel to the Ein Gedi Spa where we can float in the Dead Sea, spread warm mineral mud on our bodies, and enjoy some refreshing time by the pool or opt for a spa treatment. Overnight: Masada Guest House

Day 7 - Israel
Our final hike of the tour is our most challenging, interesting and exciting: An extreme canyon “Darage” includes swimming through pools of water left from the floods of winter, using ropes to climb down to the water We’ll be walking all the way down the slope of the African Syrian Rift from 600 Ft. above sea level to minus 1200 ft. This is an all day hike, which will begin early in the morning and will end in early evening. At the end of the day we make our way to the magical city ofJerusalem. Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 8 - Israel
Today will be devoted to Jerusalem, a city of intrigue, majesty and beauty. We’ll have a comprehensive walking tour visiting the Old City including the Western Wall, the Arab Market, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the City of David, Hezekiah Tunnels, and much, much more. Free afternoon for exploration on your own. Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 9 - Israel
We start our day visiting Mt Herzl Military Cemetery, where we’ll visit the graves of some of the most influential leaders of Israel and learn about the history of the country. Next, we spend time at Yad Vashem, the museum dedicated to the Holocaust. We then head to Bet Guvrin, an amazing 1,250 acre National park which lies in the Judean plain, and is filled with an astonishing maze of hundreds of ancient caves, that served as hiding places during the Great Revolt some 3000 years ago. We then head to the exciting metropolis of Tel Aviv. Overnight: Tel Aviv

Day 10 - Israel
Day on your own in Tel aviv. Spend the day relaxing by walking along the promenade of the Mediterranean Sea, by visiting some of Tel Aviv's incredible museums or by shopping in the outdoor artist market or the trendy Shenkin Street. We'll be happy to give you a myriad of suggestions on how to spend your day. Departure any time today.
